First impression matters a lot. Images are the first thing a customer sees when he or she visits your eBay store. Your images need to use a quality image that is not blurry. 

Buyers usually want to see up to two or more pictures of what they want to buy, it is advisable you upload a good number of images. eBay allows you to upload up to 12 images. All best sellers make use of more than one quality images, and you can as well model this.

  • Write Standard Product Descriptions

A standard product description consists of a good copywriting. 

Just writing about or describing your product is not enough; you need to sell the benefits of your products and not only the features.  

To write a good sales copy, ask yourself, “What is my buyer looking for? What are they struggling with? How does my product service those needs?”

While writing your product description, make sure that your keywords are included in it. These keywords are to optimize your product so that when people search on eBay for your product, your product will rank high on eBay search engine.

  • Avoid Reserve Prices

reserve price is a hidden minimum price—essentially, the lowest price you’re willing to accept for your item. If the listing ends without any bids that meet the reserve price, you aren’t required to sell the item. 

Mostly, I do not use a reserve price, because my goal is to make as much profit as possible, and you can also do this because, without a reserve price, you can make more money.   

  • Find Your Niche And Stick To It

The overall best seller in eBay was interviewed recently, and his response on how to succeed with eBay was “find a niche and stick to it”.

You can as well choose your hobby as your niche. You can sell supplies for your hobby, and you will definitely make money out of it because the passion is there. Where most people miss out of it is where they begin to treat their business as a hobby because their niche is hobby centered. Please do not make this mistake, treat it as a business and not a hobby.

  • Have A Good Customers Service In Place

Customer services matter a lot when it comes to eBay and other business. Make sure that you regularly avail yourself in case your customer has a few questions he needs to ask before buying your products. 

Your customer relationship must be top-notch.
